FAVAJ
It is a non-profit organization that was born in Haiti in 2003. The city hall recognizes that FAVAJ has made humanitarian interventions in Haiti, particularly in Petion Ville. After the January 12, 2010 earthquake in Haiti, FAVAJ authorities sent a rescue team since then, FAVAJ has never stopped making interventions through ten geographic departments of Haiti. Especially in disadvantaged areas in the West, North, and Latibonite departments. We should note that the FAVAJ has been registered in the Archives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor since 2007 and renewed in each period and this for a period of 2 years.
Children, Youth, Parents, Friends, welcome to "FAVAJ" or let's put it this way: "Let's live together". This is our philosophy. It is said by wise men: "The tree needs water, the sun, the moon, even its dead leaves", another said: "I will never be the one I am called to be so that my neighbor is not who he is called to be," and another: "Nobody is an island. "We have a duty to live together for the good of all.
FAVAJ wants to dedicate:
1. His life to children: orphans, destitute, handicapped and others. The importance of juvenile delinquency that exists in Haiti encourages it to create centers for supervision, leisure, but also and above all training centers to fight against illiteracy and enable them to acquire professional skills and live an autonomous adult life in "respect for oneself and others". In the community where the children come from, education is a luxury. You can give everyone the chance to receive an education, training in electronics, computers, or other life skills like sign language for the hearing impaired or braille for blind children.
2. His life to environmental protection. With the rising cost of oil, propane gas is becoming increasingly expensive and unaffordable for poor families. A solution must be found to reduce Haiti's oil bill, the cost of cooking in Haitian families and fight the deforestation since the vegetation cover is less than 2%. It is therefore also necessary to combat the use of charcoal and limit it through the mass production of Charcoal Paper Briquettes and suitable stoves.
